Steel fibres from BOSFA are used for all types of applications but the most significant application is Ground Supported Slabs, below we have listed just some of the applications already utilising the benefits of a slab design with BOSFA Steel fibres.

Pile Supported Floors over weak substrates; Overlays or Toppings to existing slabs and precast flooring systems as well as Composite Slabs supported by steel decks; Liquid Tight floors for Petrol Stations, Fuel Spill Areas and Chemical Factories.

Steel fibres can either work with conventional mesh/bar to give tighter crack control and enhanced durability or they can completely replace mesh/bar to provide slabs that are not only easier and faster to construct but offer enhanced performance in terms of load carrying capacity, impact resistance and fatigue performance.
